Terms of Service

Welcome to Golf Team HQ ("GTHQ"). By downloading, installing, or using the GTHQ mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the app.

1. Eligibility

GTHQ is intended for use by golf team coaches, players, and their families. Users under 13 must have parental or guardian consent to use the app. By creating an account, you represent that you meet these eligibility requirements.

2. Account Registration

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information during registration and to keep your information up to date. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use GTHQ only for its intended purpose of golf team management. You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose
• Share inappropriate, offensive, or harmful content through team chat
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
• Interfere with or disrupt the app's functionality
• Use automated tools or scripts to access the app
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity

4. Team Management

Coaches and team captains have elevated privileges including the ability to invite members, create events, post announcements, and manage team settings. These privileges should be used responsibly and in accordance with your team's and school's policies.

5. Content and Data

You retain ownership of the content you create in GTHQ (scores, messages, scouting reports, etc.). By using the app, you grant GTHQ a license to store, process, and display this content as necessary to provide the service. Team-related data (scores, statistics, leaderboards) is shared with other members of your team as part of the app's core functionality.

6. GPS and Location Data

The GPS round feature requires access to your device's location services. Location data is used only to provide yardage information during active rounds and is not tracked when you are not using the GPS feature. You can disable location access at any time through your device settings.

7. Credits and Purchases

GTHQ may offer credits for accessing premium features. Credits are non-transferable and non-refundable unless required by applicable law. We reserve the right to modify credit pricing and availability.

8. Service Availability

We strive to keep GTHQ available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications that temporarily affect availability. We are not liable for any loss resulting from service interruptions.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Limitation of Liability

GTHQ is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, GTHQ and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify users of significant changes through the app or via email.
