• Account Information: Email address, name, and password when you create an account.
• Profile Information: Phone number, graduation year, parent/guardian contact details, handicap, GHIN number, and profile photo.
• Golf Data: Scores, statistics, GPS round data, scouting reports, and practice drill completions.
• Recruiting Information: GPA, academic interests, JGS number, and notable golf information (provided voluntarily by the user).
• Communications: Messages sent through the in-app team chat feature.
• Location Data: GPS coordinates when using the GPS round feature (only while actively using the feature).

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and maintain the GTHQ app and its features
• Enable team management features (roster, invitations, roles)
• Calculate and display golf statistics and leaderboards
• Provide GPS yardages and course information during rounds
• Facilitate team communication through chat
• Send email notifications for team invitations and account management

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Your data may be shared in the following limited circumstances:

• Within Your Team: Coaches and team members can see team-related data such as scores, statistics, and recruiting profiles as part of the app's core functionality.
• Service Providers: We use Supabase for database hosting and authentication, and Resend for email delivery. These providers process data on our behalf under strict privacy agreements.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and safety.

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, which provides row-level security, encrypted connections, and industry-standard data protection. Profile photos are stored in secure cloud storage with access controls.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access and update your personal information through the app
• Delete your account and associated data by contacting us
• Opt out of non-essential email notifications through app settings

Children's Privacy

GTHQ is designed for use by golf team members, which may include high school students under 18. We collect only the minimum information necessary for the app's functionality. We require parental or guardian consent for users under 13. Parents/guardians may contact us to review or delete their child's information.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes through the app or via email.
